Another double header episode! Up first, Dor Konforty, who is an expert on collaboration via the net, and the wisdom of crowds. He has a master’s degree in neurobiology from an interdisciplinary brain research program in Tel-Aviv University. He is also a graduate of the Israeli Air Force computer unit and has been heavily involved in cryptocurrency since early 2011. We also have Greg Meredith, who has been leading the development of Casper along with Vlad and Vitalik, which is the PoS protocol Synereo and Ethereum want to implement. Synereo’s formally-verified smart contracting language would have prevented the attack on The DAO. During the past week, we’ve had many conversations about the sharing of Synereo’s “DAO attack-preventing” code. The response was positive, and interest in working with Synereo’s platform and utilizing their smart contracting framework rose. You gotta strike while the iron is hot, right?
